Front of House Manager

Job Summary
The Front of House Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. This position requires strong leadership skills, an understanding of restaurant operations, and a commitment to exceptional hospitality. The ideal candidate will oversee daily front-of-house operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards of service while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Train, mentor, and manage front-of-house staff, promoting teamwork and high performance.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Oversee food service operations, ensuring compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and experience.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order management and reporting purposes.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required, with a focus on front-of-house management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and financial management within a restaurant environment.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential.
• Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset are crucial for success in this role.
