Key Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair equipment including tractors and attachments, compact and light construction, and turf equipment
- Examine, read technical manuals, and confer with customers to locate and accurately diagnose malfunctions.
- Correctly identity and report all parts needed for each job or project.
-Disassemble products for purposes of diagnosing or correcting problems or installing replacement parts, Rebuild products after modifications, replacements or repairs are complete.
-Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance to construction and turf equipment.
- Complete service reports and maintain customer records.
- Communicate job progress to supervisor and customer as needed.
- Provide the best customer service possible to ensure a smooth customer relationship.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and clean work environment at all times.
General:
-Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
- Modified duty assignments as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- 2- year technical degree or: 3 years of relevant equipment repair experience, preferably some field experience. Diesel certification or schooling experience preferred
- Proven skills in reading and interpreting schematics, prints, mechanical drawings and written technical information
- Excellent diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Effectively communicate with customers, team members and supervisor.
- Ability to prioritize and multi task in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Be willing to work in all types of environments, including: wet, hot, cold, dusty, windy, sunny, etc.
- Ability to work inside and outside year round
- Bring a team player attitude with you everyday
- Basic computer skills
- Comfortable driving and operating in the field out of a mobile service truck
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background, drug, and alcohol testing before and during employment
- Class A CDL or willingness to obtain
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
