Hybrid: 3 days onsite -Exton, PA 19341

Project Overview
- The team has been building AI/ML models and is currently developing new models.
- They are finishing a project completed last year, with the goal of:
- Finalizing the previous project.
- Building a new set of models.
- Developing maintenance models.
Current Team & Hiring Need
- The team currently has three resources, but they are not satisfactory right now.
- They need one individual immediately.
- Expectation:
- Perform data science work with a strong understanding of AI/ML.
- Work alongside a Business Analyst (BA) who will provide necessary data.
- Challenge and validate the data being fed into models.
- Teach and guide the team on best practices.
Role & Responsibilities
- Data Science Dominance:
- 60-70% of modeling work involves data science (data preparation, validation).
- AI/ML complements data science once the data is well-prepared.
- Candidates need a data science background with ML expertise to support model development.
- Use Case Work:
- Understand and analyze business use cases.
- Interpret data and explain insights to business users.
- Provide an example of a past data analysis case, including:
- How they arrived at a conclusion from the data.
- How they determined whether the data was sufficient for modeling.
Project Scope
- Modeling for the parent company with a focus on customer service.
- Data sources include:
- Customer service interactions, invoicing data, purchasing orders, and usage data.
- Goal: Use this data to predict customer needs in 3-4 months and expand insights across different product lines.
Technical Requirements
- Snowflake is the primary data warehouse where all data is deployed.
- Front-end work is done on Stream.
- Python is commonly used.
- Open to strong skill sets in new technologies; Snowflake experience is not a hard requirement but is beneficial.
- Cloud experience is not required.
