Next Generation Construction & Environmental (“NG” or “Company”), headquartered in Longmont, CO with operations in seven states across the US, is a full-service specialty equipment operator and service provider focused on soft digging services used in utility locating, specialty excavation and material removal. NG also provides a series of oil field services exclusively in Colorado. The Company works directly with general contractors, asset owners and utility companies across the US. The Company recently underwent investment from a Denver-based private equity firm that is excited about the trajectory of the Company and is looking forward to growing the business organically and through acquisition.
Reporting:
The Oil and Gas Director will be part of the senior management team and report directly to NG’s COO
Job Description:
The Oil and Gas Director is responsible for administering all operations pertaining to the Oil and Gas Division. This position is responsible for scheduling crews, managing jobs, driving new sales, making sure the division follows safety protocol and oversee oil and gas P&L.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and dispatching crews for the day to day jobs.
- Upholds compliance with employment laws, regulations and training requirements to meet Federal and State mandates.
- Coordinate with Fleet Manager to make sure equipment is properly maintained.
- Be available by phone to coordinate and facilitate operations.
- Responsible for hiring and firing employees.
- Responsible for compliance with external safety and HR reporting requirements.
- Foster a culture of employee driven safety awareness, action and responsibility in all aspects of our work.
- Support employees to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Responsible for oversight of field operations that match organizational core values.
- Manage and foster healthy P&L for division.
- Drive new sales and manage current customer relationships.
Requirements
· 10 years in operations management.
· Experience within a construction or services industry required
· Strong safety and compliance experience
· Availability to travel as needed
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Ties to Colorado and a desire to be there for the long term.
Salary : $115,000 - $135,000
