Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, enhancing their experience.
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards and guest preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glassware, sanitizing equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately, following proper procedures for handling payments.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and monitoring supplies.
- Follow all liquor laws and responsible serving practices to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume setting (hotel or upscale restaurant preferred).
- Must be 21 years or older and possess or be able to obtain any necessary state alcohol certifications.
- Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
- TIPS or ServSafe certification preferred.
