Union New American, located at the Westshore City Center in Tampa, is the latest restaurant in the Next Level Brands portfolio. Union New American will be a go-to for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch with globally inspired fare. Guests can also enjoy a private event space on the second floor. The space will offer live music and dining in an outdoor terrace lounge.
Job Summary
The Server is responsible for positive Guest interactions while serving Guests in a professional, friendly and efficient manner. The Server plays an integral role in ensuring the Guests have exceptional dining experiences. At all times, Servers are expected to be attentive to the Guests' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

Qualifications and Requirements
- 2-3 years’ experience in a Server position at a full-service restaurant.
- Passion for creating memorable moments of hospitality for our guests.
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with peers and Guests.
- Able to understand, speak and follow written and verbal instruction in English
- Excels in a team environment and is viewed as a team player by all Team Members
- The ability to stay positive and calm under pressure.
- A strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow.
- A professional understanding of classic cookery, wine, beer, and cocktails.
- Previous experience with restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Must be able to obtain food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
Physical Requirements
- Ability to balance and carry trays, multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
- Must have the ability to lift, push, pull approximately 25lbs.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours during a single shift, while possibly navigating ramps, stairs, and elevators.
