Develop and implement the overall architecture for the company's e-commerce platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Define and maintain the technical roadmap for the e-commerce platform, aligning with business goals and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design and deliver robust e-commerce solutions that meet business requirements.
- Lead the integration of various systems and third-party services, including payment gateways, CRM, ERP, and analytics tools.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of the e-commerce platform, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Ensure that the e-commerce platform complies with industry standards and regulations, implementing best practices for security and data protection.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Documentation and Reporting : Create comprehensive technical documentation and regular reports on system performance, issues, and improvements.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in e-commerce architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale e-commerce solutions.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX).
- Experience with backend technologies (e.g., PHP, Python, Java, Node.js).
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with API design and integration.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies and project management tools. .
