ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for creating curriculum, IT knowledge Base (KB) articles, documentation, and videos for technical and How To training
Conduct regular workshops and training classes on applications and processes
Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess learning needs, instructional goals, and outcomes; and determine the best way to design and develop training programs
Create, evaluate, provide oversight, and make recommendations on training materials, visual aids, and presentations
Develop a flexible and accessible, self-service environment for users to be able to locate and study learning material on an as needed basis
Collaborate with technology teams (regional and global) on testing new applications and product upgrades
Keep abreast on new training techniques and methods including the use of technologies such as micro-learning, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and concepts to promote anywhere / anytime learning
Develop strategies to apply software features to specific individual and work group challenges to improve quality of work or increase productivity
Promote best practices among various end-user communities through outreach, communication, and direct assistance
Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods, including but not limited to classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job floor support and coaching
Apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness by maintaining employee training records and tracking and reporting on training outcomes
Identify internal and external instruction programs to address competency gaps
Organize, develop, or source learning programs to meet specific training needs
REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (in order of level of need)
5 years of technical training experience in a professional services organization; Insurance and Finance preferred
Strong classroom facilitation skills
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
Solid understanding of standard business software including Document Management Systems, Microsoft Office365 Suite, Adobe Products, web browsers, email, and Unified Communications platforms (Webex Preferred)
Experience creating training videos, animations, or online materials
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong presentation, and public speaking skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including the patience, tact, and ability.
