Position: SAP APO Functional Analyst
Location: Overland Park, Kansas or Chicago, IL 4 days a week on site.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP APO Functional Analyst to join client team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in SAP APO, specifically in Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), and Global Available-to-Promise (GATP). The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to craft and deliver solutions to business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions using SAP APO
- Design, configure, and test SAP APO solutions for DP, SNP, GATP, and backorder processing
- Develop and maintain statistical forecasting models and deliver forecasts to supply planning, network planning, and product movement
- Optimize distribution processes using SNP-CTM and Optimizer
- Develop and maintain rules and configurations for SNP and GATP
- Provide coaching and training to end-users to help them understand how the systems work
- Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize process improvements and system enhancements
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in SAP APO, specifically in DP, SNP, and GATP
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning and optimization concepts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to craft and deliver solutions to business stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with statistical forecasting and optimization techniques
- Knowledge of SAP IBP is a plus
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC
- Knowledge of other SAP supply chain modules, such as SAP TM or SAP EWM
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
