Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chiropractor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with musculoskeletal disorders, focusing on pain management and overall wellness. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, patient assessment, and the ability to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, including chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue mobilization and therapeutic exercises.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients on lifestyle changes, ergonomics, and exercises to promote health and prevent injury.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients, including referrals for occupational health services when needed.
- Stay current with advancements in chiropractic techniques and practices through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state chiropractic license to practice.
- Strong knowledge of Selective functional movement assesment (SFMA), Graston technique, cupping, stretch techniques, KT taping and corrective exercises or a strong ambition to learn these modalities.
- Experience in patient observation and primary care is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to perform physical examinations effectively and assess acute pain management needs.
