We are a leader in the pork industry, seeking a dedicated Benefits and Leave Specialist in St. Joseph, MO. In this role, you'll provide essential support ensuring seamless processing of leave requests and benefits enrollment for our workforce.

Your Impact :

As a Benefits and Leave Specialist, you'll be instrumental in managing leave intake and benefits enrollment. Your role will include maintaining confidentiality, managing data in ADP, and delivering excellent customer service to our employees. This is your opportunity to shape positive employee experiences and uphold HR excellence.

What You'll Do :

  • Support Leave Processes : Assist with FMLA, STD, LTD, Military, and Personal Leave tracking, maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Administer Benefits Enrollment : Help employees enroll in health, dental, vision, and other insurance plans; collect necessary documentation for dependents
  • Provide Customer Support : Address employee questions on insurance plans, assist with life and other benefit claims, and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain Data Integrity : Perform accurate data entry in ADP, and compile internal reports
  • Contribute to Open Enrollment : Assist with annual benefits Open Enrollment and ensure benefits policies comply with laws and regulations
  • Collaborate Across Departments : Build relationships within and across teams to facilitate a smooth benefits process
  • What We're Looking For :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional HR education a plus
  • Experience with ADP and Excel; general office skills, including data entry and filing
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual in English / Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules as needed, including occasional Saturdays
