What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Category Manager position at Next Level Professional?
Next Level Professional is seeking a Global Category Manager. You'll provide strategic and tactical direction for a Supply Management category team. Responsibilities may include championing and managing key strategic supplier contracts, commercial performance, and relationships, as well as providing category strategy leadership, supplier performance evaluations, resource allocation, and business planning. It's an excellent opportunity to join a well-established vehicle manufacturing company in Milwaukee.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Supply Chain or Business
- Five or more years of broad experience in Supply Chain leadership, Procurement, Supplier Quality, S&OP, and Supplier Development,
- Direct professional negotiating experience within global business
- APQP experience
- Direct experience with Supplier Business Review meetings.
- Experience with the development of proactive supplier risk mitigation strategies.
Candidates for this opportunity must be based in Southeast Wisconsin and are legally authorized to work in the United States permanently. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship, including student visas, is not available for this position.
