Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will oversee all HR functions, ensuring the team remains engaged and the company maintains its competitive edge in the industry. This role includes recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. The HR Manager will collaborate with various department leaders to foster a strong, supportive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy & Compliance: Develop, implement, and monitor human resources policies and practices, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead the complete hiring process—from crafting job postings and conducting interviews to managing orientation and retention strategies.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee pay structures, including healthcare, 401K, and ESOP, ensuring employees receive competitive and comprehensive benefits.
- Employee Relations: Function as a trusted resource for employee concerns, addressing performance management, disciplinary matters, and general workplace issues.
- HRIS & Data Management: Maintain and optimize the HR information system (e.g., Paylocity), ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
- Training & Development: Identify skill gaps, implement training programs, and promote professional growth opportunities for employees at all levels.
- Succession Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to forecast and fill future staffing needs, strengthening leadership pipelines.
- Worker’s Compensation & Safety: Investigate accidents, prepare insurance reports, and act as the liaison among employees, insurance providers, and healthcare professionals.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess HR procedures to propose and implement initiatives that nurture a positive, engaged workforce.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Five or more years of experience in human resource management; experience in construction or a relevant industry is preferred.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desired.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills in reading, writing, and speaking is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity experience is a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
