Part-Time Armed Security Officer

We are seeking professional and dedicated Armed Security Officers to ensure a safe and secure environment at youth basketball tournaments. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain order and protect players, coaches, and spectators during events. Tournaments are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Hours are subject to change due to the request of the event organizers but are normally between 8:00am and 8:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide armed security presence at tournament venues.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure controlled access.
• Respond to any incidents or emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with event organizers and local law enforcement as needed.
• Conduct routine patrols of the venue to deter any potential security issues.
• Maintain clear communication with event staff and emergency services.

Qualifications:

• Valid armed security license
• Must provide your own Vest/plate carrier, Duty belt, Firearm. We will provide a security polo and company patch.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only

Experience:

• Armed Security: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Universal City, TX 78148 (Required)
