What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler/Forklift position at Next Level Staffing?
Specific Responsibilities
- Unloading or loading vendor trucks or the company vehicles.
- Build subassemblies
- Assist co-workers with stacking, staging or setting up of parts.
- Receiving parts and quantity/quality verifications.
- Material Handling between departments
- Packaging of parts orders, weighing pallets and securing material to pallets using bander or shrink wrap.
- Facility Housekeeping includes, but not limited to: snow blowing, shoveling, sweeping, cleaning break rooms, cleaning bathrooms, changing light bulbs, etc.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Operate misc. equipment: band saws, drill press, sandblaster (wheelabrator and cabinet blaster), hydraulic press, oven, forklifts, pressure washer, etc.
- Miscellaneous shop activities include but are not limited to safety checks (1st Aid kits, fire extinguishers, exits), consolidation, inventory, etc.
Candidate Specifications
Minimum Requirements
- 18 years old.
- Physically fit – able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Able to read tape measure in 1/16” increments.
