We are seeking superstar attorneys for our Contra Costa County, California, offices. The firm also maintains satellite offices in Alameda and Solano Counties. Primary Duties / Responsibilities : Represent clients in estate-related litigation, including trust and probate disputes, contested wills, and conservatorship proceedings. Develop case strategies and provide legal counsel on estate planning conflicts, fiduciary disputes, and elder law matters. Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal briefs related to estate and conservatorship litigation. Take and defend depositions, interview witnesses, and prepare expert testimony when needed. Advocate for clients in court, mediations, and settlement negotiations. Work closely with executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and family members to navigate probate and conservatorship processes. Ensure compliance with all estate planning, probate, and conservatorship laws and regulations. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES - REQUIRED Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and / or active bar membership in CA, in good standing. 3-7 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil, insurance, estate planning, probate, and conservatorship law. Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills. Experience handling disputes involving wills, trusts, fiduciary obligations, and elder law. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills. Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools. Fluency in Spanish is highly advantageous.
