Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Designer with 5 years of experience in designing HVAC , Refrigeration , Plumbing , or Process Piping systems for commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit and possess strong knowledge of BIM processes and workflows . This role involves creating and managing detailed 3D Revit models, ensuring coordination across disciplines, and supporting project teams with technical drawings and documentation.
This position is based on-site in Devens, MA , and focuses on local talent with stable work histories.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and Drafting :
Develop detailed 3D Revit models and technical drawings for HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Process Piping systems.
Create, update, and manage BIM models to ensure coordination across mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines.
Ensure all designs meet applicable building codes , industry standards , and company best practices.
Conduct field visits to gather measurements and verify existing conditions.
Provide clear and precise drawings to support fabrication and installation teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
5 years of experience designing HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, or Process Piping systems for commercial projects.
Advanced proficiency in Revit and related CAD software.
Understanding of mechanical systems , building codes , and construction practices .
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and specifications.
