Key Responsibilities :
Design and Development :
- Create electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and custom projects.
- Design control panels, wiring layouts, and electrical schematics using software like AutoCAD Electrical.
Systems Integration :
Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other automation systems.Ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into broader automation frameworks.Project Oversight :
Manage electrical projects from concept to completion.Collaborate with customers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure designs meet specifications.Conduct site visits to supervise installations and troubleshoot issues.Compliance and Safety :
Ensure designs and installations adhere to local, national, and international electrical codes (e.g., NEC).Conduct risk assessments to maintain safety and operational standards.Testing and Maintenance :
Test electrical systems to ensure functionality and efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and automation system failures.Perform preventative maintenance and recommend upgrades for improved efficiency.Collaboration :
Work closely with the engineering team, project managers, and clients to deliver tailored solutions.Provide technical guidance to other staff and stakeholders.Innovation :
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to implement innovative solutions.Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering .Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design.Valid drivers license.Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar tools.Strong understanding of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Specialized Areas (Based on Client Projects) :
