About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Accountant to oversee and enhance accounting operations. This role involves managing financial transactions, leading month-end and year-end closings, guiding the accounting team, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting systems and a proven ability to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage AR / AP : Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions for reliable reporting.
- Oversee Financial Cycles : Lead month-end and year-end closings, reconciliations, and audit preparations.
- Analyze Financial Data : Monitor and analyze accounting information, identify improvement areas, and implement solutions.
- Team Leadership : Provide guidance to accounting staff, enforce compliance, and promote efficient processes.
- Enhance Procedures : Develop and maintain effective financial systems and procedures.
Qualifications :
Minimum 8 years of accounting experience , with at least 2 years in a leadership position .
Proficiency in advanced Excel functionalities.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
