Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with direct industry experience to lead the design development and execution of major engineering projects . This role requires strong technical expertise project coordination skills and leadership abilities to oversee equipment layouts schematics and construction reports while collaborating with vendors customers and internal teams.
The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering degree and experience in mechanical system design CAD / Revit supervision and construction planning .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the design and revision of major engineering projects .
- Develop equipment layouts size equipment and collaborate with vendors and customers.
- Obtain field data perform construction reports and ensure project accuracy.
- Take projects from conception to final design creating schematics based on customer specifications.
- Create and stamp drawings ensuring all designs meet industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with technicians and estimators to review and finalize designs.
- Prepare parts lists for the Materials Manager and order additional parts as needed.
- Ensure project completion efficiently accurately and according to specifications .
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors while following safety protocols.
- Report directly to company leadership providing updates on project progress.
