Key Responsibilities- Design & Development: Create and optimize mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Technical Documentation: Develop technical drawings, blueprints, BOMs, and reports.
- Precision & Quality: Apply GD&T principles to achieve exact tolerances and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align designs with manufacturing capabilities.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical system issues using hands-on problem-solving techniques.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a hands-on mechanical role.
- Experience in engineering large machinery involving motion.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and mechanical design principles.
- Demonstrated real-world experience with mechanical systems, machinery, or fabrication processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience with machinery and automation systems.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience with building or modifying mechanical systems, including automobile modifications.
- On-site position in Leominster, MA (not remote).
