About the Role
We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to join a manufacturing team in Acton, MA. This position is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Amada press brake machines to bend and fabricate metal components according to precise specifications. If you have experience in metal fabrication or are eager to learn, this could be a great opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate Amada press brake machines with NC-9EX controls .
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders .
- Adjust machine settings to control speed, material feed, and bending path .
- Select and install dies, punches, and tooling based on job specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure efficient machine operation.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify finished products meet specifications.
- Maintain production records and documentation .
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
