Job Title : Quality Manager

Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality control systems in a manufacturing environment. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing quality systems to ensure the continuous production of products that meet customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager will supervise a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and sorting staff, ensuring processes align with IATF 16949 and other standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement quality control systems to maintain product standards and ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry regulations.
- Supervise and manage the Sorting Department, including staffing plans, daily production tracking, and quality issue resolution.
- Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine quality standards and reliability expectations.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address nonconformities and enhance processes.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure the quality of purchased parts and materials.
- Coordinate quality objectives with production teams to improve product reliability and reduce costs.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and provide quality control training programs.
- Manage inventory for quality control equipment, such as lasers, cameras, and fixtures.
- Maintain and oversee documentation, including MPR (Minimum Process Requirements), check sheets, and production schedules.
- Track daily quality issues and production targets and conduct annual reviews for sorting associates.
- Conduct process certifications and assist in audits, including traveling up to 10% of the time.
Qualifications :
Associate degree or 10 years of progressive experience in the fastener industry .
Strong understanding of IATF 16949 , MPR, CAPA, and RCA.
