Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SCADA Engineer specializing in PowerOn Reliance and C programming . The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems in the power and utility sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
This is a hybrid position based in Santa Ana, CA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and Development :
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to analyze requirements and design SCADA systems using PowerOn Reliance .
Integrate SCADA systems with field devices such as PLCs , RTUs , and IEDs using C .
Configure and customize PowerOn Reliance applications.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to SCADA systems, PowerOn Reliance, and C .
Implement security measures to protect SCADA systems from cyber threats.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture and configuration details.
Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a SCADA Engineer with a focus on PowerOn Reliance .
Proficiency in SCADA concepts , protocols such as DNP3 and Modbus , and communication technologies.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
