Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Controls Engineer to join our team in Addison, TX. This role requires technical expertise in implementing automation solutions using PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS / Delta V platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control system design, programming, and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver innovative automation solutions and design standards independently or as a team lead.
- Conceptualize, detail, and implement control systems for industrial processes and machinery.
- Develop control system architecture, select hardware components, and create schematic diagrams and system documentation.
- Program PLCs, DCS / DeltaV systems, and develop HMI / SCADA visualizations.
- Design and implement databases for data archiving and historical data display.
- Commission and qualify control systems at client sites.
- Design and implement industrial networking solutions using protocols such as Ethernet / IP, Profinet, and Modbus.
- Manage projects, including developing project execution plans, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Provide leadership to engineering teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Maintain customer relationships, secure repeat business, and support sales efforts.
