Senior Development Engineer

Location : Akron, Ohio

Are you an experienced development engineer ready to lead impactful projects and collaborate with global teams? This role offers an exciting opportunity to innovate, optimize designs, and drive performance in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop products to meet and exceed performance requirements.
  • Lead development projects with minimal supervision, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to achieve project goals.
  • Analyze performance data and provide design recommendations for optimization.
  • Support manufacturing processes through plant visits, including component preparation and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Represent the company in industry organizations and forums.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Development Expertise : Advanced knowledge of product design, optimization, and performance testing.
  • CATIA V5 Proficiency : Hands-on experience in design and modeling.
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) : Basic understanding and application.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Proven ability to work with international teams.
  • Manufacturing Process Knowledge : Familiarity with production processes, component preparation, and process improvement.
  • Regulatory Awareness : Strong knowledge of industry standards and compliance.
  • Data Analysis Skills : Ability to analyze performance data and recommend design improvements.
  • Travel Readiness : Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Experience : Minimum of 7 years in product development, with a track record of leading projects and solving complex challenges.

    • Education

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
