Job Description :
We are seeking a Survey Technician to join our team at an underground Zinc operation in Gouverneur NY . This role is ideal for a detailoriented professional with experience in surveying and a strong understanding of MSHA regulations . The successful candidate will perform independent surveys collaborate with engineers and ensure compliance with mining project specifications.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct independent asbuilt surveys of underground mined excavation geometries and various site features daily.
- Utilize surveying equipment and technology to collect and analyze data accurately.
- Work closely with engineers and mining teams to ensure compliance with project plans and safety regulations.
- Adhere to MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) regulations and safety protocols .
- Maintain detailed records of all surveying activities and findings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
