What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Programmer position at Next Level Technician?
Next Level Technician is looking for Audio Visual Technicians with for a long-term opportunity in the Atlanta GA area! Qualified candidates must have 2 years of commercial experience.
AV Technician Responsibilities :
- Install speakers, microphones, paging systems, promethean boards, video teleconferencing etc.
- Experience in Qysys, Creston / Extron, BiAmp. Certifications are a PLUS.
- Pull, terminate, dress and label DSP cable, CAT5e / 6 cable
- Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment
- Punch down voice and data jacks
- Install and terminate racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF / IDF, workstation outlets, firestopping etc.
- Install camera and alarm systems.
- Work from all size ladders and varied lifts (must be comfortable with heights)
- Read and interpret general system layouts from blueprints.
