What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at Next Level Technician?
Next Level Technician is seeking an Inventory Specialist in the Columbia, SC area. Candidates that are highly motivated and ready to work in a hands-on environment are encouraged to explore this opportunity!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to manage inventory receiving, consumption, and tracking using internal systems within a warehouse setting
- Ability to document internal tool/material transactions
- Adept with Microsoft office, general computer skills
- Able to order materials, meet with vendors and customers
- Able to operate a forklift, hand truck, etc.
- Able to maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard, including cleaning, weed eating, etc.
- Self-motivated
REQUIREMENTS
- Pre-employment drug and background screens required
- Prefer some related knowledge of the low voltage industry
- Basic computer skills, strong work ethic, attention to detail, interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift heavy items, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in confined spaces
- Must possess valid driver's license
