What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Data Technician position at Next Level Technician?
Next Level Technician is seeking Low Voltage Cabling Technicians in the Lakeland, FL area. Candidates that are highly motivated and ready to work in a hands-on environment are encouraged to explore this opportunity!
Our technicians work primarily on commercial and industrial jobsites. From interpreting blueprints to installing voice, data, networking, and security equipment, our low voltage teams are prepared to get the job done efficiently and correctly. Prior experience in the low voltage field is required.
Next Level Technician offers weekly pay, PTO, medical benefits, and the opportunity for a signing bonus. OSHA, BICSI, and Aerial Lift certifications are preferred but not required. Candidates looking to expand on their existing skillsets and eager for longevity in the low voltage field can find a home here Low Voltage Cable Technician job duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Pulling, terminating, dressing, testing, and labeling CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, and Fiber Optic cables.
- Installing and terminating racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, firestopping etc.
- Reading and interpreting general system layouts from blueprints.
- 1 years experience. Lead experience a plus
- BICSI, OSHA10, OSHA30, Lift, and Manufacturer Certifications are a plus.
