Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer all inbound PRIME patient calls.
- Advises patients of available services.
- Schedule patient visits to appropriate clinic location communicating pertinent information regarding their appointment and preparation.
- Effectively communicate with patients to ensure complete resolution of inquiry.
- Ensures all communications between internal and external customers are documented in a concise and timely manner.
- Ensures customer satisfaction is obtained by answering questions, resolving issues and using proper phone etiquette.
- Responsible for performing triage and recommending appropriate level of service / location of care for PRIME patients.
- Responsible for sending lab reports to covering providers.
- Responsible for electronic correspondence / faxes and proper distribution to all locations.
- Responsible for the security and confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Responsible for coordination of referrals to specialists and for imaging.
- Responsible for ensuring that all referrals are kept in appropriate referral network.
- Responsible for contacting PRIME members who are due for follow up.
- Assisting PRIME patients with medication refills when necessary.
- Responsible for obtaining patient history and doing patient intake for appointments.
- Other duties as assigned.
