Position Summary In this role you will maintaining production and delivery schedules for manufacturing and production of retarders (in-track braking systems), and service parts orders. Assembly position consists of moving around to workstations, standing for duration of workday and repetitive lifting. Specific Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining and following safety standards Keep a clean and organized workplace. Assist co-workers as needed. Assembles sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Use a wide range of hand tools including, but not limited to : cordless drills, thread taps, combination wrenches, tape measure, carpenter square, pry bars, combination square, pneumatic impact guns and sledge hammers. Build, test and inspect job assignments performed Desired Sit down forklift experience. Overhead crane and hoist experience. Good relations, communication skills ad able to interact well with co-workers and management Able to work in a team environment and be willing to work flexible hours and weekends as required Ability to multi-task Excellent attendance 1-2 years of prior assembly experience.
