Duration : Contract position until at least February, with potential extension
Salary : $24 per hour benefits
Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join a clinic specializing in general surgery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting a team of three doctors who focus on procedures such as breast surgery, hernia repair, and gallbladder removal. The role includes managing a patient load of approximately 30-40 individuals per day, aged 25-70, who are primarily post-surgical or attending follow-up visits.
Responsibilities :
- Room patients and prepare them for examination or treatment.
- Accurately measure and record patient vitals.
- Enter notes and update patient documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Ensure efficient patient flow throughout the clinic day.
- Assist with post-operative and follow-up care under the guidance of the physicians.

Supervision :
This position is supervised by both the practicing doctors and the practice manager.
