Job Overview :
The Echocardiography Technician will perform ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating heart disease in patients of all ages. This role includes utilizing advanced imaging modalities for cardiac diagnostics and is subject to overtime and call back as required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform echocardiography procedures to aid in the diagnosis of heart conditions.
- Prepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations while explaining the procedure.
- Use imaging technology to capture high-quality diagnostic images of the heart.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate results.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure accurate documentation and patient records are maintained.
- Follow all hospital policies and ICAEL standards for echocardiography.
- Be available for call-back and overtime as required by hospital operations.
