Salary Range : $24.50 - $27.56 / hour (based on experience)
Position Summary :
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Home Health settings works under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients in their homes. The PTA implements treatment plans involving therapeutic exercises and modalities tailored to meet individual patient needs across a diverse age range.
Responsibilities :
- Perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks as directed by a registered Physical Therapist.
- Administer modalities and therapeutic exercises according to each patients medical needs and the approved treatment plan.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of daily activities, treatment notes, and discharge summaries.
- Assist in ensuring the operational efficiency and cleanliness of the therapy environment.
- Provide care for a varied patient demographic, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
