Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Observation / Med-Surg Unit. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in Observation / Med-Surg acute care or ER nursing, and will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Observation / Med-Surg Unit, utilizing your acute care experience.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage patient symptoms and conditions.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Observation / Med-Surg acute care or ER nursing (within the last year).
Active FL RN license or appropriate compact licensure (must obtain FL RN license within 90 days if holding a compact license).
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Registered Nurse Diploma.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
