About the Role
We are seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team as a Labor and Delivery nurse. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced labor and delivery setting, providing high-quality care to patients during one of the most critical periods of their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in the labor and delivery unit
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
- Monitor fetal heart rates and mother's vital signs during labor
- Administer medications and perform procedures as needed
Requirements
- RN License and current BLS certification
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
