Job Summary:
Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects. Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables. Analyzing data as required. Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings and drawing estimates.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, equipment manufacturers and representatives, and kitchen equipment contractors (“KEC”), as directed.
- Liaise with CAD-Revit Team, PM, Project Director/VP to help deliver project deliverables on time.
- Support PM, Project Director/VP with project budgeting.
- Assist with Foodservice plan reviews for all Design Phases (SD, DD, CD). Collaborate with CAD-Revit, PM, and Project Director/VP to identify and correct work product deficiencies, in accordance with NSD standards.
- Assist PM, Project Director/VP with maintaining Asana with project tasks and deadlines.
- Assist PM, Project Director/VP with preparing Foodservice equipment specifications and bid preparation.
- Track, analyze, and document bids and all bid/bidder communication on the NSD server.
- Support PM, Project Director/VP with Construction Administration with site meeting coordination, submittal reviews, responding to RFIs, and punch list, as directed.
- Attend weekly internal project status meetings (Master Action List or “MAL”) and all project-related meetings and conference calls, as directed.
- Maintain project emails and project folders housed on the NSD server.
- Provide timely, and professional responses to all emails, and other communications regarding NSD project work.
- Make accurate time and expense entries online via BQE Core.
- Adhere to all NSD protocols, procedures, and company culture.
- All other employee responsibilities, as outlined in the NSD Employee Handbook.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum two (2) years hospitality-related construction experience, or familiarity with foodservice design/restaurant operations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to complete tasks on time. Take ownership to meet project deadlines and commitments.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization, external partners, and clients.
- Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Capable of reading and interpreting documents such as manufacturer cut sheets, and design/construction files.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years foodservice operations experience 2 years commercial foodservice design experience.
- Comparable job experience may be considered in lieu of above.
- Expertise with Internet, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Working knowledge of AutoQuotes, Bluebeam/Bluebeam Session, Asana, and BQE Core (preferred)
- Proficiency with CAD and Revit (a bonus)
- (Acquired) knowledge of NSD proprietary systems/databases
