The Regional Sales Associate will constantly be on the move, generating strategic leads, developing customer relationships, and closing sales opportunities. The right candidate will display proven sales experience in the construction or lighting industry. They will be resourceful, innately entrepreneurial, and demonstrate the highest level of grit, professionalism, and integrity.
This talented individual will establish, build, and maintain long-term relationships with our customers, optimizing for long-term behavior at each point of contact. Job Responsibilities
- Generate. Sales. Opportunities.
- Lead sales and marketing efforts with the objective of increasing sales opportunities for the company. The company expects the associate to be active, constantly implementing creative ways to generate leads.
- Identify, establish, build, and maintain strategic relationships with customers. Must be willing to go where our customers are and close business face to face.
- Become our customer’s trusted advisor. Collect a detailed understanding of customer’s needs, pain points, and operational structure, then educate decision-makers on the best possible solution.
- Become an expert in LED lighting, systems, controls, and equipment subject matter.
- Master our data-driven value proposition and present it to customers concisely and professionally.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, presentations, and scopes of work.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and other teams to ensure alignment and achieve overall business objectives.
- Track competitors, pricing, trends, and market movement. Report to management and proactively adjust strategy to capitalize.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. We are searching for exceptional performers who understand we are stronger as a team.
- Perform other duties assigned.
Necessary Skills and Abilities
- Proven track record of success in sales roles with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Lighting, Construction, or Commercial Real Estate experience is a bonus.
- Highly self-motivated.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Must thrive when expectations and standards are high.
- Experience owning the sales cycle from first point of contact to product delivery. Believes in ‘extreme ownership’.

Education
- Four-year degree in relevant field of study.
- Equivalent experience in place of degree accepted.
Travel
- Ability to travel as required to meet ambitious sales goals.
Compensation
- Competitive Salary Performance-Based Bonus tied directly to Sales Success.
- The Regional Sales Associate’s compensation is primarily tied to performance and will not be capped. Expected Compensation Range for Successful Candidate: $75,000.00 to $150,000.00
