• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage learning through play and exploration.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive interactions among students.
• Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
• Educate students on essential life skills, including personal hygiene and social etiquette.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Work with children with disabilities, adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
• Conduct regular assessments of student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in child care or education settings, particularly with preschool-aged children.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children's emotional development.
• Experience working with students who have disabilities is highly desirable.
• First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Ability to provide nurturing care while educating children in a fun and engaging manner.
• Previous experience in nannying or caregiving roles is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
