We are seeking an experienced Child Care Teacher to join our team at Next Step Learning Center. As a Child Development Professional, you will create a stimulating environment for preschool-aged children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and providing care for toddlers.
This role requires strong classroom management skills, knowledge of behavior management techniques, and experience working with students who have disabilities. First aid certification is preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone who can provide nurturing care while educating children in a fun and engaging manner. If you have previous experience in nannying or caregiving roles, that is a plus.
In this role, you will work closely with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will conduct regular assessments of student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
