We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Emergency Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. This role will provide essential medical and administrative support and patient care in a clinical environment. This role is vital in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care while maintaining efficient operations within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support. This includes digitizing casts, prosthetic device assembly and adjustments, being the contact point for outsourced fabrication, and 3D-printing diagnostic sockets.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing and documenting patient records, tracking and ordering inventory and shipping and receiving.
- Assist practitioners clinically
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations within the clinic or hospital setting.
- Support patient service initiatives by addressing patient concerns and providing information about services offered.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment to promote a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical administrative support functions to enhance patient service experience.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy to assist in clinical procedures effectively.
- Experience working in diverse medical environments such as medical-surgical units, nursing home, or clinics.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
