EDUCATION
Graduate of accredited school of radiologic technology
EXPERIENCE
Three years QC Mammography experience
Previous Team Lead or Supervisory experience preferred
ACR Accreditation & MQSA inspection experience preferred
CERTIFICATIONS
CMRT Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required AND
ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography upon hire required AND
ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT, M, MR, N or S if ARRT upon hire required OR
CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire required
ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers in three modalities upon hire req AND
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Team training & support
Supervise staff and oversee daily department activities
Assist in implementing & monitoring performance evaluations & professional goals
Perform mammograms & diagnostic radiographs
Produce quality images as defined by American College of Radiology guidelines
Mammography : phantom images, visual inspections, compression checks, screen contract, peer reviews & monthly checklist for all mammography unit
Visual inspections of all rooms & equipment checks
Accurately enter patient data for patient tracking & exam verification
