Work environment : Radiology CT Scan
Shift : Mon - Thurs 3PM - 1 : 30AM (4 10's)
Compensation : $28 - $60hr DOE
Full Time Hours Guaranteed - Multiple locations & shifts to choose from
Qualifications Needed :
Graduate of accredited school of radiologic technology (required) or Associate Degree (preferred)
1 year radiologic technologist experience without ARRT-CT (required) or
No experience with ARRT-CT (required)
ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (required) and
ARRT (CT) (required) or
ARRT if 1 year radiology technician exp within 12 Months (required) and
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care (required)
What You'll Do :
Explain procedures prior to & during exam
Image correct anatomical area of interest & pathology according to department protocols
Performing complex procedures considering age related & developmental criteria
Process & manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, make technique adjustments & repeat procedures as needed
Correctly send & transfer images to PACS
Assess & recognize the patient's emotional, physical & cognitive conditions
Operate, care for & maintain equipment between patients (injectors, table tops & floors)
Prepare room for examination (suction, oxygen, supplies)
Administer contrast media & other medications in accordance with guidelines
