As a Family Medicine Practitioner Leader, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to patients of all ages in a supportive and dynamic environment. This position requires a strong leader who can guide and motivate the team, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient medical conditions and develop treatment plans
- Initiate and interpret lab studies, including CTs and MRIs
- Perform medical procedures and surgeries
- Complete patient charts indicating status and treatment procedures performed
- Conduct follow-up patient care, education, and referrals
- Supervise patient care and support staff to ensure operational excellence
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, providing medical oversight, consultation, and referrals
Requirements:
- MD or DO from an accredited educational institution
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Alabama
- Practiced medicine for at least three years
- Demonstrated expertise in relevant medical practices and emergency situations
- J-1 Visa accepted for employment
