Full Job Description

Next 2 Nature Landscape is a well-established design/build and maintaince firm. Serving residential and commercial clients in Bismarck, North Dakota and surrounding communities.

Next 2 Nature Landscape is seeking a Horticulturist to join our team. The ideal candidate would have a proven knowledge of plant material. This individual should have the ability to provide high quality horticultural services to assigned clients.

Key Functions:

• Manage and care for nursery stock
• Meet with clients and aid in plant material selections
• Direct activities on the job site
• Maintain company installation standards on the job site
• Manage personnel effectively and efficiently to meet completion dates
• Communicate and coordinate with the designer, project manager, and team members effectively for accurate completion of installations
• Train and promote the development of team members in the best practices of installation and company standards
• Track and record all job materials and hours worked accurately
• Other duties as required

General Requirements:

• 2 years experience preferred
• Proficient equipment operating skills
• Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail orientated
• Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun & fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background (i.e. clients, contractors, vendors, other designers)
• Punctual and dependable
