Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compounder to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process by accurately measuring, mixing, and preparing raw materials according to established formulas and specifications. This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory practices, materials handling, and compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. The Compounder will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and mix raw materials according to specified formulas and batch records.
- Operate laboratory equipment and machinery for the fabrication of products.
- Ensure proper packaging of finished products for distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, adhering to Lean manufacturing principles.
- Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Document all processes accurately in accordance with CGMP guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and workflow.
- Assist in warehouse operations including inventory management and materials handling.
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with CGMP regulations and Lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
- Ability to fabricate products using various techniques and machinery.
- Strong skills in materials handling, including the safe operation of forklifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications related to manufacturing or laboratory practices is advantageous.
