Looking for a role where you can make an impact, with a company that values training? As a HR Training and Development Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring top-tier training standards while spearheading:
1. Training Needs Assessment
· Assess training needs both future and current through job analysis, performance appraisals, surveys, interviews and consultation with department managers.
· Analyze skills gaps and align training programs with business objectives.
2. Training Program Development:
· In collaboration with department leaders, create a comprehensive management training process to ensure consistency, effectiveness and ability for managers to coach, mentor and grow their teams.
· Develop and execute apprenticeship and career path training programs to ensure a pipeline of qualified, skilled labor for key operational roles.
· Design and develop high-quality, effective online and in-person training programs and materials, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
· Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create content that is engaging, relevant, and impactful.
3. Program Implementation:
· Plan, schedule, and oversee training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
· Deliver training sessions, workshops, and presentations to staff at various levels of the organization.
· Coordinate external training vendors and instructors as necessary.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
4. Leadership and Collaboration:
· Lead, manage, and develop a team of training specialists, if applicable.
· Collaborate with department managers to ensure consistent and scalable training.
· Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices.
· Ensure that training programs comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in training and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering effective, customized training programs.
- In depth understanding of learning and development methodologies and tools (e.g., eLearning, workshops, webinars).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to analyze and assess training effectiveness and make improvements.
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
- Outstanding people management skills.
· Ability and willingness to deliver training according to employee (customer) availability, including during night shifts as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Master’s degree in related field.
· Experience with and expertise in Workday LMS
· Certification in Training & Development (e.g., ATD, SHRM).
· In addition to English, fluency in Spanish, Hindi and/or Farsi.
· Experience training large hourly workforce (500 ) strongly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
