Job Title: Dispatcher
Salary: $12-15/hour (Starting)
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dispatcher to join our growing team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a vital role in coordinating truck loads, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining seamless communication with drivers. If you have experience managing North and South Bound routes, a strong understanding of DOT regulations, and the ability to handle fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch trucks and manage load assignments for North and South Bound routes.
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Utilize DAT and truck stop platforms for load procurement.
- Ensure compliance with ELOG, safety standards, and DOT regulations.
- Multi-task effectively and manage after-hours phone connections.
- Provide timely support and maintain strong communication with drivers during working hours (6AM-3PM), and after hours as needed.
- Attend a 2-week training program (9AM-6PM) to get up to speed on the company's systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Clean record (no criminal history).
- U.S. resident or citizen.
- Bilingual preferred, or strong English proficiency (80% or higher).
- Ability to work after-hours when needed.
- Knowledge of truck dispatching, DOT regulations, ELOG, and safety procedures.
- Experience with DAT and truck stops is a plus.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
