Nextaff Job Description: Nextaff is actively seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our network of healthcare professionals. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and outpatient clinics.
The LPN will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RN) and physicians to deliver quality care to patients. The LPN will assist with patient assessments, administer medications, and perform routine nursing duties. In this role, the LPN will help monitor patients' conditions, document care provided, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for each patient.
Key Responsibilities of an LPN:
- Provide basic patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the RN or physician. * Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of care provided.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to follow care protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
